Our Tigard office provides compassionate psychological testing services for children, teens, and young adults throughout the greater Portland area. With years of experience in child psychology, we understand that navigating the psychological testing process can be overwhelming. This is why we’ve worked hard to curate a warm and supportive environment where families can feel comfortable, ensuring your child receives the insights and resources needed to enhance their mental health and developmental well-being.

As one of two locations focused on the unique psychological needs of youth, our Tigard office collaborates with The Learning Links PDX, a trusted group of educational tutors and pediatric specialists (in the last picture to the right) serving families in Tigard and surrounding communities.

What To Expect

We understand that the psychological testing process can be challenging, and we’re here to support your family every step of the way. From the moment you arrive, our warm and welcoming environment is designed to put you and your child at ease. Here’s what you can expect during your visit at our Tigard office:

    • The parent intake interview is virtual and approximately 60-90 minutes. During this appointment, Dr. Webb will gather further details about your child's history, your concerns, and clarify the goals of the evaluation.

    • 5 to 7 hours of face-to-face testing with Dr. Webb, split over two separate days

    • Find our recommendation on what to tell your child about the assessment and more frequently asked questions here.

    • Dr. Webb will distribute standardized questionnaires to parents, caregivers, and educators.

    • Dr. Webb will review pertinent medical and school records (e.g., IEP or 504 plans, therapy notes, etc.). When appropriate and indicated, Dr. Webb will consult with your child's providers and educators to gather further information.

    • Approximately 4 weeks after the evaluation, Dr. Webb will meet with the parent(s) to discuss the findings of the evaluation. The written report is made available within 48 hours of the feedback session.

    • Young adults are offered an individual feedback session (approximately 30 minutes) which allows for Dr. Webb to present the findings in a more age appropriate manner and answer all questions.
